part-way down the first knee-sock. probably should have started them a little wider at the top since my calves are not-so-small. good thing the yarn has elastic in it! |

I've come to terms with the fact that I will be "homeless" for the next month. I'll be house-sitting, staying at my parents, and traveling to Maine for the last bit of summer vacation, but then I'll be guest-rooming. I will definitely have a space (or spaces) to live, but will mostly be living out of the car. With the dog. So, I've had to get creative about what I'll need, and what clothes I should keep out since I'll have a few more weeks of civilian life before I need teacher-clothes. It's a good thing I teach in a casual atmosphere, where in the winter ski clothes are more than acceptable in the classroom - for students AND teachers.
I've already gone two years without a lot of the things I had when I was in Maine for five years (being a dorm parent in a small, shared apartment does that for you) so I can easily go another month with even less - but I'm ready to get settled and have space in which to put things (or to leave empty if I desire!). Soon. . . soon. . .
So maybe I missed an announcement but have you/are you buying a house? It would make sense with your recent Pinterest pins. What fun!
ReplyDeleteNo (official) announcement yet, but I'm in the process of buying a house!
