Nutella is one of my favorite food products. I tend to consume it straight from the jar on a spoon. It's a heavenly hazelnut pick-me-up. And now I've found a recipe for Nutella Cookies, courtesy of Pinterest.
There are a number of recipes out there, but the beauty of this one is that it's composed of a mere three ingredients that just about anyone probably has in the kitchen at any time (as long as one always has Nutella on hand, which one always should): Nutella, flour, egg.
That's it.
1 cup of Nutella
1 cup of flour (next time I might use less, maybe 3/4 cup or so)1 egg
Mix thoroughly, roll into a ball and flatten (much like you would with peanut butter cookies) to a disk with a bottom of a glass or with a fork.
Bake at 350° for as long as it takes for the tops to crackle and for them to smell done. My oven is a bit off, I'm fairly certain, so I went with look and smell (the old standby for baking done-ness) rather than time. My guess is that it would probably take about 8-10 minutes.
Pair with a glass of milk. Try not to consume all of them. In one sitting.
you know you want one. you might also want a copy of "Etiquette for Young Moderns". |
